thank you chriss!!!I got my prize in the mail this past week and i've been marvelling at the dishcloth stitch, and have already used the scrubby! My friends love your idea for the scrubby - they think you're brilliant! I haven't been able to bring myself to use the dishcloth yet. I'm still enjoying figuring out the pattern....what's it called?!! I plan on putting a post on my blog about it soon, but haven't been able to yet due to a bleepin' virus.... all better, but i have some catching up to do.thanks again!jonah ofhttp://www.babazoobee.etsy.com
Hey Jonah!I thought it was called a crochet moss stitch. Row 1: Chain an even number length, sc in second chain from hook, dc in same chain as sc. Skip next chain, work 1 sc and and 1 dc into next chain, repeat across.row; chain 1, *skip 1st dc,work 1 sc and 1 dc in sc, repeat across. Repeat row 2 to desired length.Tadaaaaaa! Quite a simple stitch. I am glad you are happy with your dish cloth and scrubbie. I just advise letting the scrubbie dry a bit and even dry our completely between uses, it helps keep the raw hemp stiffer. :)Take care.
